Visentry Legal
Customer Data and AI Usage Disclosure
This disclosure answers, in one place, the core questions about how Visentry uses Customer Data.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This document provides general information and draft contract terms. Your enterprise agreement may contain different provisions.
1. Purposes for which Customer Data is processed
Customer Data is processed only to provide the Visentry service configured by the Customer; authenticate and authorize users; operate camera management, live monitoring, face matching, event and alert generation, reporting, integrations, security, troubleshooting, and support; and meet applicable legal obligations.
Visentry does not use Customer Data to build advertising profiles, make independent decisions on behalf of the Customer, or for purposes incompatible with providing the service.
2. Use of Customer Data for AI model training
Visentry does not use camera footage, videos, images, face templates, biometric data, event records, or other Customer Data to train, fine-tune, or improve shared, general-purpose, or cross-customer AI models.
Customer Data is processed only to provide the configured service and follow the Customer's documented instructions. Any future optional use for training would require separate, clear notice and the Customer's explicit written opt-in before that use begins.
3. Data retention periods
The default retention period for administrative and activity audit logs is 90 days and may be configured by an authorized administrator.
Camera footage, event videos/photos, person records, and face templates are retained according to the Customer's configuration, contract, processing purpose, and applicable legal obligations. There is no single fixed retention period applied to these categories for every Customer.
Authorized users may delete supported records and media according to their role. At the end of the service, data is returned or deleted at the Customer's choice unless retention is legally required.
4. Data sharing with third parties and subprocessors
Customer Data may be shared only when necessary with authorized subprocessors that provide hosting, identity management, communications, monitoring, or support. Equivalent confidentiality and data-protection obligations are imposed on those providers.
Customer-connected services such as Ring are also governed by their own privacy terms. Data may also be disclosed where legally required, to protect rights, or to respond to a security incident.
5. Exercising privacy rights and deletion requests
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing and, where relevant, request data portability.
If camera, employee, or visitor data is controlled by a Customer organization, the request should first be sent to that organization. For data controlled directly by Visentry or for assistance, contact info@autodidactic.com.tr. Identity and request scope may be verified.
6. Available opt-out and control mechanisms
Because Visentry does not use Customer Data for AI model training, the default state is outside training and there is no preselected training permission for a Customer to disable. Any future program will be enabled only after a separate, express, written opt-in that the Customer may later withdraw.
Authorized Customers may disconnect optional integrations, disable or remove camera sources, and—subject to role permissions—delete person records, photos, unknown-person records, alerts, and events. Individuals may also exercise applicable objection or deletion rights through the Customer organization or by contacting info@autodidactic.com.tr.
7. Effect of opting out of AI training on the service
Customer Data is not used for training, so opting out of training has no effect on Visentry's core services.
If an optional training or product-improvement program is offered in the future, declining it will not remove access to core camera, security, alert, and reporting functions. If a specific optional feature depends on data use, that effect will be disclosed before a choice is made.
8. Instances where humans may view Customer Data
Customer Data may be viewed by users whom the Customer organization authorizes through role-based permissions. Visentry personnel do not routinely review Customer videos or images.
Limited human access may occur only when necessary to resolve an authorized support request, investigate a security incident, troubleshoot a technical failure, protect the system, or comply with law. Access is limited by need; authorized personnel are bound by confidentiality, and appropriate activity records are maintained.
9. How users can control and review videos, images, and records
Subject to role permissions, authorized Customer users can use the Visentry interface to review camera sources, person profiles and photos, unknown-person records, detection and alert history, event images, and event videos when enabled.
Users with the appropriate permissions can manage or delete supported records, person profiles, photos, unknown-person data, alerts, and camera configurations. Broader access, correction, export, or deletion requests may be submitted to the Customer administrator or info@autodidactic.com.tr.
10. Notice of changes to AI capabilities
Material changes to face matching, event detection, accuracy levels, thresholds, or similar AI capabilities that affect Customer use or risk assessment will be communicated, as appropriate, through one or more of administrator email, in-product notice, release notes, or updated documentation.
An update that changes a processing purpose or how Customer Data is used will be reflected in the relevant legal documents before it takes effect and, where applicable, will be communicated in advance or made subject to the required Customer choice.
