KVKK Privacy Notice

This notice covers processing for which Visentry is directly the data controller; the relevant Customer's notice governs its camera areas.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This document provides general information and draft contract terms. Your enterprise agreement may contain different provisions.

1. Data controller

Autodidactic Technologies, as the provider of Visentry, acts as data controller for account, inquiry, and website data. For enterprise camera and biometric processing, the Customer that determines the purposes and means of processing is the controller.

2. Personal data and purposes

Identity/contact, account, transaction-security, usage, inquiry, and support data is processed for account and authorization management, service delivery, information security, responding to requests, contract administration, and legal compliance.

3. Legal grounds, biometric data, and explicit consent

Data is collected automatically or partly automatically through electronic forms, session/audit logs, the identity provider, and support channels. Article 5 KVKK applies to ordinary personal data; biometric and other special-category data requires a specific condition under Article 6 and the adequate safeguards prescribed by the Board.

Where explicit consent is relied upon, it must be separate from the privacy notice, specific to the processing purpose, freely given, and demonstrable. If consent is required for an international transfer, it is not bundled into the consent for biometric processing. Withdrawal must be facilitated. Power imbalance in employment and less intrusive alternatives require separate assessment; consent does not by itself make disproportionate biometric processing lawful.

4. Transfers

Data may be transferred, to the extent necessary for the stated purposes, to authorized service providers, business partners, and legally authorized public bodies. International transfers use the applicable adequacy decision, appropriate safeguard, or—only where its conditions are met—incidental-transfer exception under Article 9 KVKK.

Where a KVKK standard contract is used, the official contract corresponding to the parties' roles is completed without alteration and notified to the Authority within five business days after signature. Explicit consent is not treated as the automatic or default mechanism for regular and continuous transfers.

5. Data-subject rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and recipients, request correction or erasure, object to a result produced exclusively by automated analysis, and claim compensation for unlawful processing. Submit applications to info@autodidactic.com.tr.
