Frequently asked questions
Is an internet connection required?
Local camera processing and core internal use can run on the local network depending on the selected architecture. External services such as Ring, email, or an external identity provider may require controlled outbound access.
What server hardware is required?
CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage are sized during discovery based on camera count, resolution, target processing rate, and retention period.
Who manages backups and updates?
For a customer-managed deployment, infrastructure, backup, and update responsibilities are documented in the service scope and order form.
